Support social good movements like BLM with technology!

To address the recent events regarding social disparities and injustices, the duckHacks team has put together a hackathon to encourage solutions in four main tracks:

Active tooling

Create tools to actively help participants of social rallies, protests, or apps people can use on a day-to-day basis to promote accountability.

Fundraising

Find creative new ways for people to donate money to a good cause, and to make sure support goes to the right places.

Education

Teach the masses about problems Black and Brown communities face in America in new ways, whether it be with visualized data or new styles only possible with technology.

Pandemic Response

With the COVID-19 pandemic hitting Black and Brown communities especially hard, create solutions oriented at them to alleviate working in our new reality.

Why participate in duckHack for social good?

This world is as connected as ever, where information distribution and connectivity, when used the right way, can contribute to a more egalitarian society. Create those solutions here!

Build your ideas

Have that idea that you never got around to making a project out of? Do you think you have a solution to a problem, but don't know where to start? duckHacks is the perfect environment for executing that project, where talented hackers partner up with bright-eyed thinkers to implement new and exciting solutions.

Make a difference

Winning projects will be recognized by our sponsors and local organizations, and can be integrated into real-world scenarios, having tangible effects in everyday lives.

Contribute to your favorite charities!

In each of our four categories, winners will get to donate $200 to their charity of choice, investing in good causes we all believe in.
